Why is the day before the full moon so powerful for healing ?
I had a moment with the moon in my twenties. I tossed and turned in my bed for hours one night. I opened my window and looked up and there shining down on me was a glorious full moon. It was in that moment that my love affair with the moon began. Personally I am very sensitive to the moons energy. Over the years in private practice many of my clients share the same sensitivity so I have been delighted to share with them my tips, tricks and techniques for working with the moon and all it's glorious energy.
It’s no secret that since ancient times the moon has been revered as a tool for planting crops and seeking wisdom, guidance and manifesting. In fact, Biodynamic agriculture is a method of organic farming used today that was originally developed by Rudolf Steiner in the 1924. This holistic understanding of agriculture uses a scientifically based moon and zodiac planting chart to enhance production.
The day before the full moon is a powerful day of healing and super charging you crystals, essential oils and you. As the full moon reaches her fullest potential during the lunar cycle she draws up energy to be released. She is like an energetic vacuum gently drawing forth low vibrational energy from the earth and its occupants so you can begin the new cycle and new beginning with a fresh clear energy. So this is why we put our crystals and oils outside. Oils and crystals are very sensitive to taking on energy. The full moon will literally draw out of them any low vibrational energy.

This is why the week leading up to the full moon can be a bit of an emotional rollercoaster. So that said my lovely moon gazers and self-healers its time to put your crystals and oils outside for a re-charge. Keep them away from the direct sunlight. Place them out this afternoon in a shady spot. Be gentle with yourself today. Clean and clear your energy and the energy in your space and take a nice big bath and smother your body in the divine archangel aromatherapy oils to support the process of healing and to raise your vibration.
